Morristown Green was originally launched in 2007 by the Newark Star-Ledger as an online experiment. It was relaunched in 2010 as an independent site by journalist Kevin Coughlin after he left the Star-Ledger. The site covers community news, events and business. Bonus points: Coughlin has received numerous community awards. Revenue: Grants, advertising.
